Product Introduction

The TL284x and TL384x series of integrated circuits provide the necessary features to implement off-line or DC-to-DC fixed-frequency current-mode control schemes with a minimum number of external components. Some of the circuit's internal implementation undervoltage lockout (UVLO) has less than 1 mA, while the start-up current and accuracy of the precision trimming reference is at the input of the error amplifier. Other internal circuitry includes logic to ensure lockout operation, pulse width modulation (PWM) comparison (i.e. current limit control is also provided) and a totem pole output stage design for high peak current from or sink. The output stage can drive the N-channel MOSFET to be in the off state when it is low.
