500mA peak boost, step down, reverse switching regulator

Integrating all the switching regulators in the TL497A requires an active role. It can also be used as a control unit to drive external components for high-power output applications. The TL497A is designed for ease of use in step-up, step-down, or voltage reversal applications where high efficiency is required.

The TL497A is a variable frequency switching voltage regulator control circuit with fixed operating time. The time on this switch is connected between an external capacitor programming frequency control and GND. This capacitance C T, is the internal constant current generator received to the predetermined threshold. Charge current and threshold with different ratios of V CC.
