500mA peak boost, step-down, reverse switching regulator

The construction of the switching regulator that integrates all of the TL497A needs to play an active role. It can also be used as a control unit to drive external components for high power output applications. The TL497A is designed for ease of use in boost, buck, or voltage reversal applications requiring high efficiency.

The TL497A is a variable frequency switching voltage regulator control circuit with fixed operating hours. The time on the switch is programmed by an external capacitor between frequency control and GND connected. This capacitor CT，Is charged by the internal constant current generator to a predetermined threshold. Charging current and threshold are in different proportionstargetV CC。 Therefore, the switch remains constant for a constant time within the range specified in the input voltage (4).
