Wide voltage range power supply controller

illustrate   The TL499A is an integrated circuit design that provides an adjustable regulated supply voltage range with a wide range. The stable output voltage variation range is two external resistor adjustments from 2.9 V to 30 V. When the TL499A is AC coupled through a step-down transformer line, it operates as a series of DC voltage regulators to maintain a stable output voltage. With a 1.1 volt battery from 10 volts, an inductor, a filter capacitor and two resistors, the TL499A operates during an AC line fault boost type switching regulator. The adjustable regulated output voltage is useful for making the TL499A a wide range of applications.
