The TL5001 and TL5001A incorporate all the functions required for pulse-width modulation (PWM) control circuitry on a single chip. Designed for power control, the TL5001/A contains an error amplifier, voltage regulator, oscillator, a dead time control input PWM comparator, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), short-circuit protection (SCP), and an open-collector output transistor. This TL5001A is a typical comparison ± 3% voltage tolerance and is referenced to the TL5001 ± 5%.

The error amplifier's common-mode voltage range of 0 V to 1.5 V The in-phase input of the error amplifier is connected to a 1-V reference. Dead Time Control (DTC) can be set to provide an external resistance between the deposit and the GND for 0% to 100% of the dead time of the connection.
