Combining all TL598 in pulse width modulation (PWM) control system construction requires a single chip function. Designed for power control, the TL598 offers the flexibility with power control circuitry tailored to a specific application system engineer.

The amplifier TL598 contains two errors, an internal oscillator (externally adjustable), a comparator with dead zone time control (DTC), a pulse steering trigger, a 5 V precision reference, undervoltage lockout control, and output control circuitry. The two totem pole outputs provide superior rise and power FET control fall time performance. The output is supplied from a common source and common power grounding, allowing system designers to eliminate voltage drop caused by high currents and errors caused by common-mode noise.
