The TLC220x TLC220xB, TLC220xA, and TLC220xY, have undergone a precision, low-noise amplifier process using Texas Instruments' advanced LinCMOS™.The noise performance of these devices combined with the lowest-noise JFET amplifier with dc accuracy is available only in bipolar power amplifiers before.The advanced LinCMOS™ process uses silicon-gate technology to obtain input bias voltage stability over temperature and time, and can use metal-gate far more than technology.In addition, the technology enables possible input impedances to meet or even exceed top-gate levels, providing dielectric-isolated JFETs and expensive equipment.

The combination of dc and noise performance with excellent common-mode input voltage and range, including negative rails, makes signal-conditioning devices ideal for these devices to go to high impedance and low levels that can be configured in single-supply or split-supply applications.
