The TLC220x, TLC220xA, TLC220xB and TLC220xY are precision, low-noise operational amplifiers using Texas Instruments Advanced LinCMOS™ processes. These devices combine the noise performance of the lowest noise JFET amplifiers with dc accuracy before bipolar amplifiers. The advanced LinCMOS™ process uses silicon gate technology to obtain input offset versus temperature and time, far more than requires voltage stabilization using metal gate technology. In addition, this technology enables possible input impedance levels that meet or exceed those provided by top-gate JFETs and expensive dielectric isolation devices.

The excellent DC and noise performance of the common-mode input voltage range, including negative rail capability, makes these devices ideal for high-impedance, low-level signal conditioning applications in single-supply or discrete power configurations.
