Product Introduction

The TLC220x, TLC220xA, TLC220xB and TLC220xY are precision, low-noise operational amplifiers using Texas Instruments' advanced LinCMOS™ process. These devices combine the noise performance of a JFET amplifier with DC accuracy that can only be achieved with the lowest noise before a bipolar amplifier. The advanced LinCMOS™ process uses silicon gate technology to obtain input offset with temperature and time far more than the voltage stability required using metal gate technology. In addition, this technology enables possible input impedance levels to meet or exceed those provided by top-gate JFETs and expensive media-isolated devices.

The excellent DC and noise performance of the common-mode input voltage range, including the negative rail capability, makes these devices ideal for high-impedance, low-level signal conditioning in applications with single or discrete power configurations.
