The TLE214x and TLE214xA devices are high-performance, internally compensated due to the use of Texas Instruments' complementary bipolar Excalibur process op-amps. It is a strict TLE214xA that cancels out the TLE214x voltage rating. These two are pin-compatible upgrade standard industry products.

The design uses an input stage while achieving 10.5 noise in the low audio band. Load fast actuators/positioning drivers of /100 – pF are very useful. The settling time under similar test conditions is 0.01% at 400 nanoseconds.

These devices are stable with capacitive loads up to 10 nF, although the bandwidth at 6 MHz drops to the high load level of 1.8 MHz. As a result, the TLE214x and TLE214xA are useful low-hanging sample retainers and long cables that include direct buffering of current loops from 4 mA to 20 mA.
