The TLV320AIC3104 is a low-power stereo audio codec with stereo headphone amplifier, as well as a variety of inputs and outputs, programmable in single-ended or fully differential configurations. Extensive register-based power control includes the ability to play back up to 14 milliwatts from a stereo 48-kHz DAC from a 3.3 V analog supply, making it ideal for portable battery-powered audio and telephony applications.
The TLV320AIC3104 recording path contains multiple analog inputs between integrated microphone bias, digitally controlled stereo microphone preamplifier, and automatic gain control (AGC) with mixing/multiplexing function. Programmable filters are used in optical zoom digital cameras that can remove audio noise that may occur during recording.
