The TLV7211 and TLV7211A are micropower CMOS comparators in space-saving SOT-23-5 packages. This makes for critical designs for space and weight. The TLV7211A has a functional offset voltage of 5 mV input, and the TLV7211 has an input offset voltage of 15 mV.

The primary benefits for the SOT-23-5 package are evident for the smallest portable electronic devices such as mobile phones, pagers, laptops, personal digital assistants, and PCMCIA cards. Rail-to-rail input voltage makes the TLV7211 or sensor interface circuits such as light detectors, optical and magnetic sensors, circuits and alarms and status a good choice for the TLV7211A.

The small size of the SOT-23-5 package makes it suitable for PC board tight spaces.
