TMP401

± 1°C programmable remote/local digital output temperature sensor

The TMP401 temperature sensor is a remote monitoring with a built-in local temperature sensor. Remote temperature sensor diodes are typically low-cost, NPN - or PNP type transistors or diodes that are part of a microcontroller, microprocessor, or FPGA.

Remote accuracy of ± 1°C from multiple IC manufacturers without the need for calibration. The two-wire serial interface accepts SMBus write, read, send and receive bytes for command program alarm thresholds and read temperature data.

Features in the TMP401 include series resistance cancellation, remote temperature measurement over a wide range (up to +150°C), diode fault detection, alarm function, and temperature.
