TPA0172 Stereo Class AB audio amplifier with stereo headphone drivers and I2C control

The TPA0172 is a stereo 24-pin TSSOP package thermally enhanced audio power amplifier that provides continuous RMS capability of 4 2 watts per channel of power -Load. The unit employs an I2C bus to control its functions, minimizing the number of external components required, simplifying the design, and freeing up board space for other functions. When driving to 8 1 watts -Speakers, TPA0172 have been below 0.2% THD + N from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Included in the device is the integration of a depop circuit, which virtually eliminates electrical noise caused by transients, shutting down the speaker, although in transition and exit from shutdown mode.

The amplifier's overall gain control of the digital volume control interface register programmed C is via I 2.
