The TPA2000D4 features a stereo Class AB headphone driven 2W stereo Class D audio amplifier

The TPA2000D4 is a 2-W Stereo Bridged Load (BTL) Class D amplifier designed to drive up to 4 subwoofers -Impedance. The amplifier uses TI's second-generation modulation technology, which improves efficiency and signal-to-noise ratio results, and also allows direct connection without LC output filters typically used with Class D amplifiers (which will result in a device on speakers that must be shielded from electromagnetic interference at the system level). These features make notebooks ideal for using computer devices that require high efficiency and extended battery life. For powered speakers powered off by the USB bus, the high efficiency USB allows for higher levels of output power without tripping the overcurrent protection circuit.
