The TPA2001D1 is a 1-W mono bridge-load (BTL) Class D amplifier designed to drive a loudspeaker at least 8-Impedance. The amplifier uses TI's third-generation modulation technology, which results in improved efficiency and signal-to-noise ratio. It also allows the device to connect directly to speakers that are not associated with Class D amplifiers (where electromagnetic interference must be shielded at the system level) without the use of LC output filters. These features make the device ideal for using the device when high efficiency is required and the battery life of the device is extended.

The gain of the amplifier controls two input terminals, GAIN1 and GAIN0. This makes the amplifier configurable for gains of 6, 12, 18 and 23.
