The TPA2014D1 is a high efficiency Class D audio power amplifier with an integrated boost converter. It can drive up to 1.5 watts (10% THD+N) into 8Ω speakers from 3.6 V supplies. With a typical efficiency of 85%, the TPA2014D1 helps extend battery life when playing audio.

The built-in boost converter generates a higher voltage rail for a Class D amplifier. This provides a louder audio output than a standalone amplifier connected directly to the battery. It also maintains a consistent loudness regardless of battery voltage. In addition, a boost converter can be used to provide external equipment.

The TPA2014D1 features an integrated low-pass filter that improves RF rejection and reduces out-of-band noise, improving the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the signal.
