TPA2015D1 2W Class-D audio amplifier with adaptive boost and battery tracking from SpeakerGuard AGC

The TPA2015D1 is a high-efficiency Class-D battery-tracked audio power amplifier with SpeakerGuard AGC technology and an integrated adaptive boost converter for improved efficiency at low output power. It can drive up to 2 watts to 8 Speaker (6% total harmonic distortion). With a typical efficiency of 85%, TPA2015D1 helps extend battery life when playing audio.

The built-in boost converter generates a 5.5 V supply voltage for a Class D amplifier. This provides a louder audio output than a standalone amplifier connected directly to a battery. SpeakerGuard trademark Class D gain with automatic gain adjustment limits battery current, preventing re-trimming.

The TPA2015D1 integrates a low-pass filter to improve the DAC's RF rejection and reduce out-of-band noise, improving the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the signal.
