The TPA2028D1 is a single, filterless Class-D audio power amplifier with Class D volume control, dynamic range compression (DRC) and automatic gain control (AGC). It has a 1,63 mm × 1,63 mm wafer chip-level package (WCSP).

The DRC/Auto Gain Control function is TPA2028D1 via a programmable digital I2C interface. The DRC/AGC function can be configured to automatically prevent distortion and reinforcement of the audio signal, which is usually not heard of on the calm channel. DRC/Automatic Gain Control, which can also be configured to protect the dynamic range of damaged speakers and compressed music at high power levels to match the dynamic range of the speakers. Gain can be selected from -28 dB to +30 dB in 1-dB steps.
