The TPA3005D2 is a 6-watt (per channel) high-efficiency, Class D drivebridge-mounted stereo speaker audio amplifier. The TPA3005D2 can drive as low as 8 stereo speakers 。 The TPA3005D2 high efficiency eliminates the need for an external heat sink when playing music.

Two gain select pins for the amplifier's gain control. The gain options are 15.3, 21.2, 27.2, and 31.8 dB.

The output is completely protected from shorts to GND, VCC, and output to output. Thermal protection to ensure that the maximum junction temperature is not exceeded.
