The TPA3008D2 is a 10-watt (per channel) high-efficiency, Class D drivebridge stereo amplifier. The TPA3008D2 can drive as low as 8 stereo speakers 。 The high efficiency of the TPA3008D2 eliminates the need for an external heatsink when playing music.

The amplifier's gain control has two gain selection pins. The gain options are 15.3, 21.2, 27.2, and 31.8 dB.

The output is completely protected from shorts to GND, VCC, and output-to-output shorts. Terminal allows fault short circuit fault reporting and automatic recovery. Thermal protection ensures that the maximum junction temperature does not exceed.
