The TPA701 is a bridge-to-load (BTL) audio power amplifier that develops low voltage applications required in internal speakers. Powered from a 3.3-V supply, it is capable of delivering 8 250 MW of continuous output power under the TPA701 line -Less than 0.6% THD+N loads the entire audio band. Although this device is characterized by a range of up to 20 kHz, its operation is optimized for narrow band applications such as wireless communications. The BTL configuration eliminates the output to most applications on an external coupling capacitor, which is an important requirement especially for small battery-powered devices. The device uses an application shutdown mode that is sensitive to current power supplies.
