The TPS2834 and TPS2835 are synchronous step-down power stage MOSFET drivers. These devices are ideal for designing high-performance power supplies with switching controllers that do not include on-chip MOSFET drivers. The driver is designed to deliver peak current to large capacitive loads of at least 2 people. The high-side drive can be configured as ground reference or floating guidance. Adaptive dead-time control circuitry eliminates current through the switching transition through the main power FET and provides a high-efficiency buck regulator. The TPS2834 and TPS2835 have additional control functions: enable, synchronization, crowbar. Both the high-side and low-side drivers are turned off when enabled as low.
