TPS40100 also a medium voltage, wide input (at 4.5 V and 18 V), synchronous, step-down controller. TPS40100 also offers programmable closed-loop soft-start, programmable undervoltage lockout (with programmable hysteresis), programmable current limiting, and inductance sense that can be synchronized to other time bases. TPS40100 also integrates an external N-channel high-side and a synchronous rectifier (SR) MOSFET gate driver for the MOSFET. Adaptive reverse cross-conduction circuitry with logic gate drivers for improved efficiency reduces conduction of cross-conduction and rectified MOSFET diodes. An external programmable current limit provides a hiccup overcurrent recovery feature.
