The TPS40200 is a flexible asynchronous controller with a built-in 200 mA P-channel FET driver. The circuit works up to 52 volts with a power saving function that shuts off the drive current once the external FET is fully activated. This feature extends the flexibility of the device, allowing it to operate at input voltages up to 52 V without dissipating excessive power. The circuit has voltage mode feedback and feedforward input voltage compensation, which responds immediately to changes in input voltage. The integral 700 mV reference is trimmed to 2%, providing the means to precisely control the low voltage. Clock frequency, soft start, overcurrent limit each program is easily caused by an external factor.
