This TPS51220 is a dual-channel synchronous buck regulator controller with 2 LDO. This technology optimizes the 5-V/3.3-V system controller to cost-effectively power 2 to 4 laptops. TPS51220 supports high efficiency, fast transient response, and 99% duty cycle operation. It supports input voltage from a 1V power supply ranging from 4.5V to 28V, with an output voltage of 125. Two control schemes can be chosen according to different application types. Peak current mode supports stable operation with ESR capacitors and lower output accuracy. The D-CAP method supports fast transient response. High tariff (99%) operation and a wide input/output voltage range support flexible small mobile PC designs and a variety of other applications.
