The TPS51461 features a 2-bit VID with a 3.3V to 5V input, 6A, D-CAP+ mode synchronous buck converter

The TPS51461 is a fully integrated synchronous buck regulator using D-th+™. It is used for bucks up to 5 - V where the size of the system is essential in its premium, performance and optimized BOM.

The device fully supports Intel system integration 2-bit VID function proxy application.

The TPS51461 also features two switching frequency settings (700 kHz and 1 MHz), skip cycle mode, prebias start-up, programmable external capacitor soft-start/voltage transition time, output discharge, internal VBST switch, 2 V reference (± 1 %), power good and enabled.

The TPS51461 is available in a 4mm × 4mm, 24-pin QFN package (RoHS compliant, green lead-free) and is available from 0°C to 85°C
