The TPS53129 is a dual-channel, time-adaptive D-CAP2™ mode synchronous buck controller. The TPS53129 ensures that system designers complete a regulated power bus kit with cost-effective, low-component count, and low-standby current solutions for a variety of end devices. D-CAP2™ mode control for the TPS53129 master control cycle provides a very fast transient response without the need for external components. The TPS53129 also has a circuit that allows the device to accommodate two low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors, such as POSCAP or SP-CAP ceramic capacitors with ultra-low ESR. Fixed frequency simulation adaptive turn-on time control supports high-efficiency seamless operation under heavy load conditions, reducing operating frequency between PWM modes in the range of milliamps at light loads.
