The TPS53310 offers a fully integrated 3-V to 5-V VIN total integrated components synchronous FET converter solution for 16,2 200 mm area printed circuit boards. Thanks to low R DS(ON) and TI's proprietary SmoothPWM &153; Jump Action Mode, it enables 95.5% peak efficiency, more than 90% efficiency at load light at 100 mE. It requires a power-dense 3-A solution with only two 22μF ceramic output capacitors.

The TPS53310 features a switching frequency of 1.1 MHz, SKIP mode operation support, pre-bias start, internal soft-start, output soft-discharge, internal VBST switching, power supply, en/input UVLO, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and overtemperature protection and support for all-ceramic output capacitors.
