The TPS53310 offers a fully integrated 3-V to 5-component dimensional synchronization of a total of 16 converter solutions in an integrated FET with a PCB area of 2 200 mm. Thanks to the low R DS(ON) and Texas Instruments' proprietary SmoothPWM™ jump to operating mode, it enables a peak efficiency of 95.5% and an efficiency of more than 90% at load with light at 100 mm. It requires only two power density, 3-A solutions with 22μF ceramic output capacitors.

The TPS53311 features a 1.1 MHz switching frequency, SKIP mode operation support, pre-bias start, internal soft start, output soft discharge, internal VBST switching, good power supply, en/input UVLO, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and overtemperature protection and support for all-ceramic output capacitors.
