The TPS53321 offers a fully integrated 3-V to 5-component dimensional synchronization of a total of 16 converter solutions in an integrated FET of 2 200 mm PCB area. Thanks to the low on-resistance and TI's proprietary SmoothPWM™ jump-to-operation mode, it enables peak efficiency of 96%, over 90%, and load efficiency of up to 100 milliamperes. It requires a power-intensive 5–A solution with only two 22μF ceramic output capacitors.

The TPS53321 features a 1.1 MHz switching frequency, jump mode operation support, pre-bias start, internal soft start, output soft discharge, internal VBST switching, good power supply, en/input UVLO, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and overtemperature protection, and support for all-ceramic output capacitors.
