The TPS53321 provides a fully integrated 3-V to 5-component dimensional dimension_atSynchronization of integrated FETs for a total of 16 converter solutions, in²PCB area of 200 mm. Due to the low on-resistance and TI's proprietary SmoothPWM™ jumping to operating mode, it achieves peak efficiencies of 96% and over 90% with load efficiencies of up to 100 milliampere. It requires a power-intensive 5-A solution with only two 22μF ceramic output capacitors.

The TPS53321 features a 1.1 MHz switching frequency, skip mode operation support, prebias start-up, internal soft-start, output soft-discharge, internal VBST switch, power good, EN/input UVLO, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, and overtemperature protection, and all-ceramic output capacitor support.
