Thanks to SWIFT's ™ DC/DC regulator family members, TPS54010 low input voltage, high output current synchronous step-down PWM converters integrate all the required active ingredients. Features listed with substrates include a true, high-performance, voltage-error amplifier capable of selecting output filtered inductor and capacitor components in transient conditions and maximum flexibility; An undervoltage latching circuit to prevent start-up until the VIN input voltage reaches 3 volts; An internal and external setup of slowstart circuitry to limit inrush current, and a power supply good output processor/logic reset is useful, fault signal and power supply sequencing.

The TPS54010 is to encapsulate the PowerPAD™ with a thermally enhanced 28-pin TSSOP (Public Works), eliminating bulky heat sinks.
