As a member of SWIFT's ™ DC/DC regulator series, TPS5410 is a high-output current PWM converter integrating a low-impedance, high-sided N-channel MOSFET. Among the listed features and substrates are a high-performance voltage error amplifier that provides tight regulation accuracy under transient conditions; an undervoltage latching circuit to prevent start-up until the input voltage reaches 5.5 volts; an internal slow-start circuit is set to limit the inrush current; and voltage feedforward circuitry to improve transient response. Using the ENA's pins, the shutdown current drops to 18μA, which is typical. Other features include an active high start, overcurrent limit, overvoltage protection, and hot shutdown.
