A family member of the DC/DC regulated SWIFT, the TPS54110 low input voltage high output current synchronous step-down PWM converter integrates all the necessary active ingredients. Among the features listed with the substrate are a true, high-performance, voltage-error amplifier that delivers high performance under transient conditions; an undervoltage lockout circuit to prevent start-up until the input voltage reaches 3 volts; An internal and external setup of a slow-start circuit to limit inrush current, as well as a power good output processor/logic reset useful, fault signal, and power sequencing.
