The TPS54218 device is a full-featured 6V,2A, downcurrent-mode synchronous buck converter with two integrated MOSFETs.

The small design of the MOSFET through integrated TPS54218 implements current mode control to reduce the number of external components, reduce the size of switching frequency inductors up to 2 MHz, and minimize the footprint of a small 3mm x 3mm thermally enhanced QFN package IC.

Precise adjustment of various loads with TPS54218 temperature provides reference (Vref) for an accurate ± of 1% voltage.

Efficiency is maximized by an integrated 30 meters MOSFET and 350μA typical supply current. Using the Enable pin, the shutdown current is reduced to 2 microamps of input in one shutdown mode.
