TPS54218 2.95V to 6V Input, 2A Synchronous Buck Converter

The TPS54218 device is a full-featured 65,2A, down-current mode synchronous buck converter with two integrated MOSFETs.

The integrated TPS54218 enables the small design of the MOSFET to implement current mode control to reduce external component count, reduce the inductor size of switching frequencies up to 2 MHz, and minimize the footprint of a small 3mm x 3mm thermally enhanced QFN package IC.

The TPS54218 provides a reference with temperature()VREF precisely regulates various loads to an accurate ± 1% voltage.

Efficiency is maximized by the integrated 30 meters MOSFETs and power consumption 350μA typical supply current. Using the Enable pin, the shutdown supply current is reduced to 2 microamps into a shutdown mode.
