The TPS54233 features Eco-mode's 3.5V to 28V input, 2A, 1MHz buck converter

The TPS54233 is a 28 volt, 2 nonsynchronous buck converter that integrates a low RDS (Day)High-side MOSFETs. To increase efficiency at light loads, the pulse-skipping eco-mode ™ function is activated automatically. In addition, a 1μA shutdown supply current makes the device a battery-powered application. Internal slope compensation current-mode control simplifies external compensation calculations, reducing component count while allowing the use of ceramic output capacitors. The input undervoltage lockout of a resistor divider scheme is hysteresis. Transient overvoltage protection circuitry limits start-up and transient overshoot voltage conditions. When the load is overloaded in the planned cycle current limit, frequency foldback and thermal shutdown protection device and cycle.
