TPS54260 3.5V to 60V input, 2.5A buck converter with Eco-Mode

The TPS54260 device is a 60V, 2.5A, downstage regulator with integrated high-side MOSFETs. Current mode control provides easy external compensation and flexible component selection. A low-ripple pulse skip pattern reduces no-load and regulates the output supply current to 138μA. Using the Enable pin, the shutdown current is reduced to 1.3μA when the enable pin is low.

The undervoltage lockout is internally set to 2.5V, but the enable pin can be increased. The output voltage start ramp controls the slow start pin and can also be used for sort/track configurations. The open-drain supply has a good output signal, indicating a voltage rating of 94% to 107%.

The wide switching frequency range allows for optimized efficiency and external component size.
