The TPS54283 and TPS54286 are dual-output non-synchronous buck converters that support 2-A output applications with the capability from 4.5 V to 28 V input voltage, and require output voltages at 0.8 V and 90% of the input voltage.

Compensated for internally determined operating frequency, soft-start time, and control loop, these converters offer many features with minimal external components. Channel 1 overcurrent protection is set at 3 A, while Channel 2 overcurrent protection levels are selected by connecting pins to ground, BP, or dangling. The level setting is used to allow external components not to foul applications that require two outputs of full load capability.
