The TPS54290/1/2 is a dual-output synchronous buck converter that fully supports the ability to operate with minimal external component count. It operates from an input supply voltage of 4.5 V to 18 V and supports output voltages as low as 0.8 V and high input voltages up to 90%.

These two high-side and low-side MOSFETs are integrated to provide higher efficiency fully synchronized conversion. Channel 1 can deliver up to 1.5 continuous current, while Channel 2 supports up to 2.5 A

Current-mode control simplifies compensation. External compensation increases the user's flexibility in selecting different types of output capacitors.

180° out-of-phase operation reduces input ripple current through the capacitance, providing reduced input capacitance, reduced electromagnetic interference, and increased capacitor lifetime.
