The TPS54290/1/2 is a dual-output synchronous buck converter that fully supports the ability to fully support applications with the least number of external components. It operates from 4.5 V to 18 V input supply voltages and supports output voltages as low as 0.8 V and up to 90% high input voltages.

The two high-side and low-side MOSFETs are integrated to provide higher efficiency fully synchronous conversion. Channel 1 can provide up to 1.5 continuous current, while channel 2 supports up to 2.5 A

Current mode control simplifies compensation. External compensation increases the flexibility of the user to choose different types of output capacitors.

The 180° off-phase operation reduces the passage of input ripple current through the capacitor, providing the benefits of reducing input capacitance, reducing electromagnetic interference and increasing the life of the capacitor.
