The TPS54318 device is a full-featured 6-volt, 3A, downcurrent-mode synchronous buck converter and two integrated MOSFETs.

The small design of the MOSFET through integrated TPS54318 implements current mode control to reduce the number of external components, reduce the size of the inductor size to switch frequencies up to 2 MHz, and minimize the footprint of a small 3mm x 3mm thermally enhanced QFN package IC.

Provides reference (Vref) with TPS54318 temperature for precise adjustment of various loads to an accurate ± of 1% voltage.

Efficiency is maximized by an integrated 30 meters MOSFET and 350μA typical supply current. Using the Enable pin, the shutdown current is reduced to 2 microamps of input in one shutdown mode.
