The TPS54328 is a D-CAP2™ mode synchronous buck converter with adaptive on-time. The TPS54328 enables system designers to complete a cost-effective, low component count, low standby current solution for a variety of end equipment power bus regulation suites. D-CAP2™ mode control for the TPS54328 master control cycle provides a fast, transient response without external compensation components. Adaptive turn-on time control at light loads seamlessly supports transitions between higher load conditions and ecological business model ™PWM mode. Eco mode ™ allows the TPS54328 to maintain high efficiency under lighter load conditions. The TPS54328 also features dedicated circuitry that enables devices to adopt low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors, such as POSCAP or SP-CAP ceramic capacitors, and ultra-low ESR.
