The TPS54328 is a D-CAP2™ mode synchronous buck converter with adaptive turn-on time. This TPS54328 enables system designers to complete a cost-effective, low-component-count, low-standby current solution for a variety of end-device power bus conditioning suites. D-CAP2™ mode control for TPS54328 main control cycle provides a fast, transient response without the need for external compensation components. Adaptive turn-on time control for light loads seamlessly supports transitions between higher load conditions and eco-operating mode ™PWM mode. The eco mode ™ allows TPS54328 to maintain high efficiency under lighter load conditions. The TPS54328 also features dedicated circuitry that allows devices to all take output capacitors with low equivalent series resistance (ESR), such as POSCAP or SP-CAP ceramic capacitors with ultra-low ESR.
