The TPS54383 and TPS54386 are dual-output, non-synchronous buck converters that support 3-A output applications operating at 4.5 V to 28 V input supply voltages and requiring output voltage capability at 0.8 V and 90% input voltage.

With internally determined operating frequency, soft-start time, and control loop compensation, these converters provide many features with minimal external components. Channel 1 overcurrent protection is set at 4.5, while Channel 2 overcurrent protection level is selected by connecting the pin to ground, BP, or dangling. The setting hierarchy is used to allow the scaling of two outputs that are not required by applications to external components.
