The TPS54418 device is a full-featured 6-volt, 4-amp current mode converter with synchronous step-down of two integrated MOSFETs.

Through integrated TPS54418, MOSFETs are designed with small design and implement current-mode control to reduce the number of external components, minimize switching frequency inductance sizes up to 2 MHz, and minimize the footprint of a small 3mm × 3mm thermally enhanced QFN packaged IC.

This TPS54418 provides an accurate ± 1% Voltage Reference (VREF) with precise adjustment of various loads according to temperature.

Efficiency is maximized by an integrated 30 meters MOSFET and 350μA typical supply current. Using the Enable pin, the shutdown current is reduced to 2 microamps of input in one shutdown mode.
