The TPS54426 is a D-CAP2™ mode synchronous buck converter with adaptive turn-on time. This TPS54426 enables system designers to complete a regulated power bus kit for a variety of end devices with a cost-effective, low component count, low standby current solution. D-CAP2™ mode control for TPS54426 main control cycle provides a very fast transient response without the need for external compensation elements. Adaptive turn-on time control for light loads seamlessly supports transitions between higher load conditions and eco-operating mode ™PWM mode. The eco-mode ™ allows TPS54426 to maintain high efficiency under lighter load conditions. The TPS54426 also features dedicated circuitry that allows devices to take output capacitors with low equivalent series resistance (ESR) such as POSCAP and sP-CAP ceramic capacitors with ultra-low ESR.
