The TPS54426 is a D-CAP2™ mode synchronous buck converter with adaptive on-time. The TPS54426 enables system designers to complete a cost-effective, low component count, low standby current solution for a regulated power bus kit for a variety of end devices. D-CAP2™ mode control for the TPS54426 master control cycle provides a very fast, transient response without external compensation components. Adaptive turn-on time control at light loads seamlessly supports transitions between higher load conditions and ecological business model ™PWM mode. Eco mode ™ allows the TPS54426 to maintain high efficiency under lighter load conditions. The TPS54426 also features dedicated circuitry that enables devices to adopt low equivalent series resistance (ESR) output capacitors such as POSCAP and sP-CAP and ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors.
