Thanks to a member of SWIFT's ™ DC/DC regulator family, TPS5450 is a high output current PWM converter with integrated low-impedance high-side N-channel MOSFETs. Among the listed features and substrates are a high-performance voltage error amplifier that provides tight regulation accuracy under transient conditions; an undervoltage latching circuit to prevent start-up until the input voltage reaches 5.5 volts; 1. Set up a slow start circuit internally to limit the inrush current; and voltage feedforward circuitry to improve transient response. Using the ENA's pins, the shutdown current drops to 18μA, which is typical. Other features include an active high start, overcurrent limiting, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown.
