Thanks to SWIFT's ™ DC/DC regulator family members, TPS54680 low input voltage high output current synchronous step-down PWM converters integrate all the required active ingredients. Using other regulators, the power TRACKIN feet up and down is easy to achieve. Included in the listed features with the substrate is a true, high-performance, voltage-error amplifier capable of selecting output filtered inductors and capacitors for maximum performance and flexibility; a secondary voltage latching circuit to prevent start-up until the input voltage reaches 3 volts; An internal or external setup slow-start circuit to limit inrush current, and a power-good output processor/logic reset is useful.

The TPS54680 is to package the PowerPAD™ with a thermally enhanced 28-pin TSSOP (Works), eliminating bulky heat sinks.
