As a member of SWIFT's ™ DC/DC regulator family, the TPS54810 low input voltage high output current synchronous step-down PWM converter integrates all the necessary active ingredients. Included in the listed features with substrate is a true, high-performance, voltage-error amplifier capable of selecting output filtering inductor and capacitor components in transient conditions and with maximum flexibility; a secondary voltage latching circuit to prevent start-up until the input voltage reaches 3.8 volts; An internal or external setup slow-start circuit is useful to limit inrush current, as well as a power good output processor/logic reset, fault signaling, and power sequencing.

The TPS54810 is available in a heat-resistant enhanced 28-pin TSSOP (Public Service) PowerPAD™ package, which eliminates bulky heat sinks.
