As a family member of the DC/DC regulated SWIFT family, TPS54917 low input voltage high output current synchronous step-down PWM converters offer a smaller package TPS54910 and higher switching frequencies, which allows for the same functionality for a small overall solution. Included in the listed features with the substrate is a true, high-performance, voltage-error amplifier capable of selecting output filtered inductor and capacitor components in transient conditions and maximum flexibility; an undervoltage latching circuit to prevent start-up until the input voltage reaches 3 volts; An internal and external setup of slow start circuitry to limit inrush current, and a power-good output processor/logic reset is useful, fault signal and power supply sequencing.
