The TPS59124 is a dual-channel, D-D mode synchronous buck controller with adaptive on-time switch-on. This unit enables system engineers to cost-effectively complete embedded computer power bus supervision suites with the absolute lowest number of external components and the lowest standby power consumption. Fixed-frequency analog adaptive on-time control supports seamless operating conditions under heavy loads, reducing frequency operation to the milliamp range under high-efficiency light load between PWM modes. Low ESR output capacitors optimized for TPS59124 master control cycles used in D-CAP modes such as POSCAP or SP-CAP promise fast transient response without external compensation.
