The TPS6013x boost-regulated charge pump generates an output voltage of 5 ± 4% from 2.7 to V to 5 V to an input voltage of 5.4 V (three alkaline, NiCm, NiMH or one or lithium or lithium batteries). The TPS60130/TPS60131 with an output current of 300 mA and the TPS60132 with an output current of 150/TPS60133 input all mA from 3 V. Only four external capacitors are required to establish a complete high efficiency DC/DC charge pump converter. To achieve high efficiency over a wide input voltage range, the charge pump automatically selects a conversion mode between 1.5x or multiplex. From a 3 V input, all chips can start with full load current.

These devices feature power-saving pulse-skipping modes at light loads, extending battery life. The TPS60130 and TPS60132 include a low battery comparison, and the TPS60131 and TPS60133 features a power good output.
