The TPS6031X boost, regulated charge pump generates an output voltage from 0.9-V to 3-V ± 4% or 3.3-V to ± 4% with an input voltage of 1.8 V (one alkaline, nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal hydride battery).

Only five small 1 uF ceramic capacitors require a well-established, high-efficiency DC/DC charge pump converter. For high efficiency over a wide input voltage range, the conversion mode between 3x or 4x of the charge pump is automatically selected.

Output 1 (Output 1) provides 40 mA max, from 1-V input with output 2, (OUT2) without loading. The OUT2 can provide a maximum of 20 mA from a 1-V input without loading the OUT1. Two outputs, which can be loaded at the same time, but the first current of the total output voltage multiplier cannot exceed 40 mA.
