TPS61010 Low input voltage synchronous boost converter with adjustable output

The TPS6101x devices are typically used as a pseudo-boost converter for single or two-cell nickel-cadmium (NiCd), nickel metal hydride (NiMH), or alkaline battery-powered systems.

The converter output voltage can be adjusted from 1.5 V to 3.3 V maximum by an external resistor divider, or fixed inside the chip. These devices provide only five output currents of 200 mA for a supply voltage converter that starts at a supply voltage of only 0.9 V and maintains a full load of 0.8 and 0.9 with a supply voltage converter starting

The converter is based on a fixed frequency, current mode, pulse width modulation (PWM) controller enters the power supply and automatically saves in light load mode. It uses a built-in synchronous rectifier, therefore, the elimination of external Schottky diodes is necessary and the efficiency of the system is increased.
